Nascar Betting Odds: Crown Royal 400 Preview

NASCAR odds at SBG Global.comNASCAR heads to Richmond on Saturday night for the Crown Royal 400 with Kyle Busch the favorite.  Busch has won this race the past two years so it makes sense he is the solid favorite in NASCAR odds at SBG Global.com.  There are a number of other contenders though as six other drivers have single-digit odds.  Here is a look at Saturday night’s race.

Kyle Busch has run 12 races at Richmond and has 10 top five finishes including two wins in the last two spring races.  Busch is the favorite at 3.5-1 for good reason but that doesn’t guarantee he will win the race. Denny Hamlin might be a good pick this week. Richmond is his home track and he has six top-10 finishes in 10 starts at Richmond.  Another contender should be Clint Bowyer. He has been moving up the standings in the last four races and is now 10th.  Bowyer’s average finish at Richmond is 9.8 and that trails only Busch and Hamlin.

There have been seven different winners in the eight NASCAR races this season. How about another one on Saturday night?  We mentioned Bowyer and Hamlin already but other contenders are Tony Stewart, Kurt Busch and Dale Earnhardt Jr.  Stewart has three wins, four second place finishes and 15 finishes in the top 10 at Richmond.

Even though it is still early in the NASCAR season, the spring race at Richmond has been a benchmark as to which drivers will end up making the Chase.   If you are outside the Top 15 after Richmond your chances of making the Chase are almost zero. That means it is a big week for Greg Biffle who is in 16th, Hamlin in 17th, and other big names like Kasey Kahne, Jeff Burton and Jamie McMurray.

Here is a look at the odds at SBG to win Saturday night’s Crown Royal 400:
