Nascar Odds: Jimmie Johnson vs. Brad Keselowski

Brad Keselowski’s lead in the Chase for the Cup is a slim seven points as he looks to hold off Jimmie Johnson and a host of others to win the Sprint Series in NASCAR wagering. There are only five races left, the next of which is the Hollywood Casino 400 on Sunday, October 21st, 2012 at 1 p.m. ET at the Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas.

Brad Keselowski finished in 11th place last time out at the Bank of America 500 as Jimmie Johnson cut into his lead atop the standings. Keselowski currently has 2,214 points while Johnson has 2,207. Denny Hamlin is also right in the mix in third place, 15 points behind Keselowski.

Clint Bowyer won the race last week to move up a spot to fourth place, 28 points back of first place, and will look to make it two victories in a row this week. Kasey Kahne rounds out the top five and he trails Keselowski by 35 points.

Jimmie Johnson has won this race two times in the past four years and another stop in victory lane could threaten Keselowski for the top spot. Tony Stewart is down in ninth place but has also won the Hollywood Casino 400 two times in his career and would get a nice boost if he can duplicate the feat again. A fourth place finish by Greg Biffle last week lifted him three spots in the standings to No. 6 overall and he has also won this race two times, so he must be considered a viable contender in NASCAR wagering.Nascar Odds: Jimmie Johnson vs. Brad Keselowski
