MLB Baseball Cincinnati Reds @ San Francisco Giants

The Reds (72-53) and 1st in NL Central take on the Giants (70-56) and 2nd in NL West from San Francisco tonight and this is the 2nd game of a 3 game series and  the  game time is 10:15 EDT.

Taking to the rubber tonight for the Reds we will see Travis Wood who is 4-1 with an ERA of 2.51 with 46 Ks and 15 Walks and taking the rubber for the Giants it will be Jonathan Sanchez who is 9-8 with an ERA of 3.47 with 151 Ks and 72 Walks.  Wood is looking for his 5th consecutive win while Sanchez is returning after back to back losses and then a win last Thursday.  See the MLB Odds on this NL game tonight.

In this second game the Giants will be trying to win again since they beat the Reds on Monday night at AT&T Park. The Giants came into this series with 5 losses in the last seven games and were more than please with the play on Monday with 17 hits for 5 runs in the 1st inning and in the end won the game 11-2 and the win placed them within one game of Philly in the league Wild Card position. Check out the MLB Baseball Betting lines at SBGGlobal.com.

For the Reds they are 1st in NL Batting average as well and have averaged 5.9 runs while winning 8 of nine before losing to the Giants on Monday night.  The offense for the Reds on Monday was weak as they were not very impressive and only had five hits, one of which was a two run triple in inning 3 and no more.  The Reds on the other hand want to win all but at this time they are 5-2 on this road trip with only two games remaining which indicates the worst they could do is 5-4 but let’s hope their luck will be better than that and Wood continues his winning pitching antics.
