NBA Betting: Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Memphis Grizzlies

The Oklahoma City Thunder may have looked somewhat lost after losing James Harden to trade and dropping two of their first three games of the season, but the duo of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, not to mention stud big guy Serge Ibaka, has turned things around in a hurry for the defending Western Conference champs. If you were hoping to take advantage of an early season slump in your bet on NBA basketball, let me warn you, it already ended.

The Thunder have been unstoppable since dropping to 1-2 a week ago, going undefeated in that time, with only one game coming within single digits. That game, against the Chicago Bulls, was also the only road game in that week, perhaps something to examine when you go to make your next bet on NBA basketball.

The next wager should be on the upcoming game between the Thunder and the Memphis Grizzlies. The Grizz will try to use their impressive front line (Gay, Randolph, Gasol) to bully an Oklahoma City team that is known more for its finesse than its toughness.

However, Serge and center Kendrick Perkins are not about to back down from anyone, so it will be interesting to see what the Grizzlies do if their inside game does not materialize as well as planned. Certainly forward Rudy Gay has the scoring ability to carry a team, but he will not be able to outscore Durant and Westbrook by himself.

This game will come down to who scores more, the Thunder backcourt or the Grizzlies frontcourt. You can make your choice on that matter by heading to SBG Global lines and throwing down a bet on NBA basketball. For my money, I would go with OKC at home, but that is just me.NBA Betting: Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Memphis Grizzlies
