Preview: Buffalo Bills vs New England Patriots Odds NFL

new england patriots vs buffalo billsThere are probably a lot of things that dour New England head coach Bill Bilechek hates like: sleeves on his hoodies, reporters, Hannah Montana but it’s hard to think of anything he hates more than a NFL gambling loss to the Jets.  And that’s just what he got last week in front of a national audience.

Expect the mad scientist in Bilechek to come out this week and look for him to treat the Buffalo Bills to a very ugly defeat.  The Pats will go back to drawing board to re-tool an offense that struggled in pass blocking, run blocking and moving the ball in the second half and use the Bills as their own personal research subject in Week 3 action.

Kickoff for this Sunday matchup is set for 1:05 Eastern Time and sbg sportsbook opened with the Patriots as a 14-point favorite with an over/under total at 42.5.

The Pats (1-1) need to win this game to keep pace in the AFC East and will win this game.  The only thing that remains a question is by how much?  Chances are it will be by a lot.

The Bills defense is porous, giving up 24.5 points per game and after the Packers slices up this teams pass defense last week, expect Tom Brady to have a field day.  Brady is coming off a sub-par performance against the Jets, a game he finished with just a 72.5 passer rating and had 2 INTs.  Granted his O-line nearly got him decapitated by Brady are a perfectionist and he‘ll almost certainly bounce with a big game after such an infuriating NFL betting odds loss.

If Brady gets the passing game going it should open up some play action and take the pressure of the beleaguered Pat’s O-line in run blocking and New England should be able to run the ball against this below average Bills front seven.

On offense Buffalo really has little hope of scoring many points. The Pats D can be run on and the youth in the secondary can be exploited in the passing game.  But not by the Bills’ awful offense.  Ryan Fitzerald will get the start at QB after Trent Edwards has managed just 241yards passing in 2 games.  That team’s leading receiver is rookie RB CJ Spiller with 8 catches for about 4 yards speaks volumes about this team’s offensive deficiencies.

Look for the Pats to beat the Bills in this sports betting matchup and to beat them badly.
