UFC Betting is fast over taking boxing
There was a time not all that long ago when UFC betting and any type of MMA fighting really was looked at as little more than an eccentric from of recreation that offered some betting action and an Octagon. It was thought of by most sports betting odds makers as nothing more than a passing fad.
That time has come and gone and UFC betting and MMA fighting are here to stay. Today, the UFC odds action is much more than just a passing fancy and is quickly taking over as the most popular form of fighting sport in the country. In fact, if things continue as they are it won’t be long until UFC betting overtakes boxing in terms of popularity and we may see the end of boxing as we know it.
While the UFC odds just seem to get more and more popular boxing odds are experiencing an opposite trajectory in popularity. Boxing has been dying for decades but it’s currently at an all time low with most sports betting enthusiasts unable to name even one or two current champions or even active boxers. Sadly, this once wildly popular sport is now sliding further and further into sports betting oblivion every day. The only even potentially positive development on the horizon would be a fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, but it seems as though that might be fanciful thinking of the part of sports betting fans.
On the other hand, UFC betting fans have plenty to be hopeful about. There is huge crop of rising young stars ready to take over for the aging veteran stars of the UFC odds action. Each UFC Main Event seems to have a better line than the previous one and the demand for tickets for these events and online betting interest in these fights has never been higher.
Best of all there seems to be at least one UFC betting spectacular per month. In boxing you may have to wait 3 r 4 months for a decent bout and even then the fight never seems to live up to the hype any more.
UFC betting is here to stay and unfortunately, the same cannot be said of boxing anymore.
